We’ve created a new learning object that we’re making available for free, for a limited time, on our
Educator Resource Center and
online store.
The Traffic Light Timer is an interactive traffic light that will count-down and change from red to yellow to green, or green to yellow to red. Custom sounds can be added by putting MP3 files to the attachments tab of your SMART Notebook lesson. The lights can also be toggled on or off by clicking on them.
Your feedback is appreciated!

I think it’s a cute idea! I like that you can click the lights on/off manually, which might be a nice visual cue for younger students. Green could mean keep working, Yellow could be a sign to clean up or quiet down, and Red could signal to stop working or stop talking. Thanks for the free tool!

I need any information, feedback, implementation advice, etc. regarding the use of ‘talklights’. My alternative email is sandyferrino@gmail.com.
Thanks in advance to all of my ‘Partners in Special Education’!
